Leader Planning & Reporting System

Purpose and Audience

Technical and governance services business unit had more than a dozen services within it and close to twenty leaders. Leaders are required to write annual plans and to update them quarterly; moreover, they are required to report their progress to plan monthly at four levels of management. All this was done with Microsoft Office applications, so it was extremely manual, time-consuming, and costly. Researched, designed, and built planning and tracking system in Jira Work Management to remove much of the manual work of planning and reporting.

Addressed an excruciating pain point of the CIO, senior management, and leaders. This planning and reporting work took away from leaders’ time managing their teams.
